Abstract:

This study aims to investigate how Tata Steel is using artificial intelligence (AI) and internet of things (IoT) technology to advance the UN SDGs. The Research focuses on analyzing the applications of AI and IoT in Tata Steel's operations and how they are contributing towards achieving the SDGs. The study discovered that Tata Steel has introduced several AI- and IoT-based technologies to increase operational effectiveness and lessen its environmental impact. These solutions have aided the business in achieving various SDGs, including those relating to Communities and cities that are environmentally friendly, clean energy, and conscientious consumption and manufacturing. The study also identified certain challenges faced by Tata Steel in implementing AI and IoT technologies, such as the high costs and lack of skilled personnel. However, the company is actively working towards addressing these challenges and scaling up its AI and IoT-based solutions. Overall, this project work provides valuable insights into how AI and IoT can be effectively utilized by industries towards achieving the SDGs, with Tata Steel serving as a notable example. Policymakers, business executives, and researchers can all benefit from this study.

People must shop for a variety of things, from groceries and vegetables to clothing. Traditionally, people would visit distinct stores to purchase various goods. The modern integration of stores allows us to find all the necessities under one roof, known as a shopping complex. Hence, this causes a shopping mall's level and structure torise. Inournation, there is still a great need to upgrade the facilities in order to give customers the best possible shopping experience. Consumers frequently have problems and challenge while purchasing. Examples of these numerous methods that are currently in use include barcode technology, which stores the price in the barcode, and RFID technology. Customers find it tough to wait in large lines at big hyper markets. Customers waste time as are result of this .The development of theS mart Billing System addresses these problems .Barcodes that come with the merchandise are used to implement it. An RFID reader reads the product's embedded code. There ader converts the IDitha received into the item's details, which are then displayed in theLCD.Untilalloftheitemsarescanned, thisprocesscontinues.Theentire cost of the products you've purchased will then be shown on the LCD. An acknowledgment is given to both clients follow.
