Year: 2022 | Conference Paper | Publisher: Scitech Conference Xplorer

Abstract:

Patients with diabetes are disproportionately affected by diabetic foot ulcers, the major cause of non-traumatic lower limb amputations. There have been a lot of ways that have substantial drawbacks, like inaccurate assessment techniques, lengthy processes, and expensive treatments. This research presents a deep learning object detection framework, augmentation, and segmentation to address the limitations of current methods. Images from the dataset are used in the training and testing processes. In order to reduce the frequency of false positives, data augmentation is employed to increase the quantity of test and training images. The ulcer can be detected with the use of YOLO v5, a deep learning-based technique. The proposed system detects whether the ulcer is abnormal or normal. All photos were scaled down to 640 480 to help deep learning methods perform better and reduce computing expenses. Here we are using YOLO v5 for image resolution which gives higher results than existing CNN and R-CNN’s.

Abstract:

Karakalpakstan is an area that has sig- nificant challenges in optimizing its water supply. To guarantee that its residents have access to dependable and uncontaminated water sources, creative solutions are needed. This paper offers a thorough method for resolving these issues by utilizing ma- chine learning strategies for optimization and monitoring. Real- time data collection and analysis on water supply, including consumption trends, infrastructure state, and water quality, is the main goal of our research. Algorithms for machine learning are used to optimize the distribution network, identify leaks, and forecast demand. Predictive models are also created to anticipate instances of water scarcity and maximize resource distribution. The findings show how machine learning may be used to improve Karakalpakstan’s water supply management, resulting in more productivity, lower waste, and better access to clean water. Policymakers, water authorities, and researchers looking for long-term solutions to the region’s water supply problems will find great support from this research

ESTIMATION OF HOUSE PROPERTY VALUE WITH HYBRID MACHINE LEARNING

Dr. S. Suguna Mallika , Dr. Ch. Sarada, G.Swetha,

Year: 2022 | Conference Paper | Publisher: Scitech Conference Xplorer

Abstract:

Numerous variables contribute to wide swings in the price of homes. Size, proximity to services, and other conveniences all play a role. However, in certain instances, these costs are not based on accurate value and are, instead, inflated. Many of us have probably come into situations in which the price of a home seemed excessively high for reasons that ultimately didn't matter to us. The goal of this work is to establish home values by considering a wide range of tangible characteristics. We need a model that takes into account all relevant factors to arrive at a fair pricing that works for both the buyer and the seller. For this reason, rather of depending on just one Machine Learning algorithm to make home price predictions, a combined approach is proposed. We can make sense of the various algorithmic outputs and formulate a rule that makes use of all these numbers. The cost of a home will be settled according to this guideline. The proposed approach would reduce errors and house price prediction precision also increases.

Smriti Tandon, Surendra Kumar,

Year: 2022 | Conference Paper | Publisher: Scitech Conference Xplorer

Abstract:

Any organization may succeed in achieving its objective depending on the efficiency and competitiveness of its employees. Whether it is the case of service sector, industrial sector or educational sector, the better the efficiency and job satisfaction level, the better is the progress level of the organization. Thus, human resources play major role in achieving the organizational objectives. The performance of the administrative, technical and supporting employees is directly or indirectly relevant with the organizational productivity. Therefore, it becomes necessary to analyze the perception of the employees and the level of their satisfaction towards the organizational policies. Even if the employees have high potential and proficiency, their satisfaction level towards their job plays a major role for positive results. The progress of the academic institutions also demands highly satisfied human resources and motivated staff. It is of immense importance to get a comparative analysis of the employees working in the institutions on various parameters. In the present case a comparative analysis of job satisfaction level of administrative, technical and supporting grade staff in the academic institutions of Uttarakhand has been done to show the parameters on which the different category of employees are more satisfied in comparison to the others.

FAULT TOLERANCE AND QOS AWARE TASK ALLOCATION BASED ON META HEURISTIC ALGORITHM FOR HADOOP

Chitharanjan Karat, Radha Senthilkumar,

Year: 2022 | Conference Paper | Publisher: Scitech Conference Xplorer

Abstract:

The handling of unpredictable growth rates poses a challenge to the computing industry due to the increasing accumulation of data in daily life. The repercussions of data center failures on large-scale computing infrastructures have led to the adoption of Hadoop as a platform for processing massive amounts of data. In this paper, HFPSA, a metaheuristic algorithm that combines simulated annealing and flower pollination, is proposed for fault-tolerant load balancing. An enhanced task allocation policy based on fireflies mitigates arbitrary request failures caused by network disruptions, node failures, or storage complications within a data center. The dynamic processing slot scheduling that has been proposed improves the performance of I/O-intensive processes in Hadoop MapReduce. The simulation results demonstrate enhanced task allocation, load balancing, and fault tolerance.

ADOLESCENT RISK TAKING BEHAVIOUR AND MENTAL HEALTH

R. Kayalvizhi, Dr. M. Maria Antony Raj,

Year: 2022 | Conference Paper | Publisher: Scitech Conference Xplorer

Abstract:

Adolescence is a crucial developmental stage marked by notable changes in a variety of domains, including the physical, psychological, social, and cognitive. Adolescents exhibit more risk-taking and thrill-seeking behaviours than their younger and older peers, and they have higher incidences of criminal behaviour and STDs. Adolescent risk-taking is a critical public health concern since it is linked to increased rates of death and morbidity. By giving their children love, support, and direction, setting clear expectations, and keeping an eye on their activities, parents and other family members can prevent adolescents from engaging in risky behaviour. Comprehensive sex education helps adolescents comprehend the risks and repercussions of unprotected sexual activity and substance addiction, while risk reduction initiatives teach them about the perils of risk-taking behaviours and how to prevent them. By encouraging positive interactions and limiting access to risk factors, social support programmes and secure neighbourhoods can also help to lower adolescents' risk-taking behaviour. A Western-style diet and poor mental health symptoms in adolescents are linked, according to recent research, underscoring the significance of changing dietary practices. In general, combating adolescents' risk-taking behaviour and advancing mental health necessitates a multifaceted strategy that includes parental involvement, child care, educational initiatives, social support, and community interventions. The study is based on secondary sources, it is cardinal to realise the relationship between adolescent risk-taking behavior and mental health, and to identify interventions and strategies to address these issues. Keywords: Risk taking behaviour, Adolescents, Mental health, Health behaviour, Well-being

Abstract:

The significant surge in refuse sediment levels in numerous nations can be primarily attributed to the rapid process of urbanization. Significant environmental risk is posed by sewage sludge disposal, and the difficulty of managing sewage sludge internationally exacerbates environmental concerns. Sewage sludge, which is predominantly organic in nature and contains N and P, which are critical nutrients for soil fertility and plant development, is regarded as a valuable resource that can be recycled into soil enhancement material and fertilizer. Nevertheless, sewage sediment comprises hazardous metals alongside advantageous constituents such as fertilizers. The physiological and chemical properties of sewage sediment were investigated in this experiment, with the obtained results being compared to the standard value. The aforementioned characteristics comprised pH, the C/N ratio, and the accessible amounts of N, P, and K. Additionally, we will strive to expand its utility so as to maximize its value. I suppose so. As opposed to landfilling, recycling waste when utilized in construction projects, as it has a lower environmental impact. Sludge, sewage, and physicochemical properties are all keywords.
